After having a talk with Kate, Carly realizes Vivian knows that Melanie is Carly’s daughter. Carly knows she has to tell Melanie the truth if she’s going to save her, and that’s what she sets out to do.

Carly heads to the Kiriakis mansion to find her daughter, but ends up slipping on the ice and hitting her head. Victor finds her and calls for help. At the hospital, Carly has short-term memory loss and can’t remember why she was at Victor’s.

Soon, Carly starts to recall her conversation with Kate, sneaks out of the hospital, and tries to go back to the mansion – but she’s kidnapped by Vivian’s goon, Gus. He chloroforms her and takes her to a warehouse. When Carly regains consciousness, Vivian, via laptop, reveals her plan to kill Melanie while Carly watches. Carly, not knowing the hair comb is poisoned, watches Vivian place it in Melanie’s hair. Melanie passes out, but it’s due to all the excitement of the wedding.

Carly, determined to get to her daughter, struggles with Gus, overpowers him, and knocks him out. Carly uses Gus’s phone and texts Vivian to come to the warehouse. Vivian and Carly have it out and Carly tries to strangle her. However, Hope shows up and tells Vivian that Victor figured out her plan and switched the comb. Hope arrests Vivian, but Gus comes to and pushes a bunch of crates on top of Hope and Carly; they are trapped. Vivian escapes, saying she’s going back to kill Melanie.

Carly will do anything to protect her daughter, and Vivian is about to find out just how far she’ll go.

On the upside – despite all the mayhem, Melanie and Philip actually tie the knot.

Frenemies Victoria and Billy are forced to spend time together when a storm delays their flights, and they are stuck at the airport.

They take refuge at the bar and Victoria becomes upset when Billy shows her the latest issue of Restless Style with Victor on the cover. She calms down when she learns the story is about Adam and that Victor came to him. They then begin to enjoy each other’s company.

Eventually, Victoria makes it home in time to exchange anniversary gifts with JT. They end up in another argument about Tucker. Victoria can’t believe he’s still working for McCall after what Tucker did to Katherine. Victoria throws her anniversary gift at JT and runs off.

As fate would have it, Victoria runs into Billy again. He sees that she’s been crying and tries to comfort her.

Will Victoria salvage her marriage or turn to another man?
