Wednesday 1/21: Brady tells John that the hypnosis session was a success and that Charlotte has been lying to him. Brady shows John the video, which upsets John greatly.

Charlotte arrives at Marlena’s with a syringe. Charlotte accuses Marlena of breaking into her office and threatens to turn her in to the Board of Ethics. Marlena turns it back on Charlotte, saying that she’llĀ  turn her in also, for neglecting to be honest with her patient.

John is upset about the video, and Brady tells him that Marlena will confront Charlotte, which concerns John. John calls Marlena and finds out that Charlotte is there. Charlotte shows the syringe to Marlena and makes her hang up the phone. She says that Marlena has ruined her life. Charlotte tells Marlena that she felt that her father always praised Marlena and only gave Charlotte 45 minutes every once in awhile; thisĀ  made Charlotte feel neglected. She tells her that the syringe is filled with a muscle relaxant and that the heart is a muscle so she will soon die. Marlena tells Charlotte that some people “just don’t measure up” and pushes Charlotte away. As Charlotte is in the corner, John arrives to save Marlena and she accidentally inserts the syringe into John. Bo and Hope arrive to arrest Charlotte while Marlena gives John CPR, waiting for the paramedics to arrive.

Chloe gets an audition for an opera in Vancouver and tells Lucas about it. You can read more about this here.

In other news:

Rafe leaves Sami at the convent, and she doesn’t want him to leave, fearing for his life. Rafe returns to the safe house and both he and the killer have their guns drawn. They get into a fight.

Nicole tells EJ that she’s going to Chicago, and he says she’s not going. Nicole doesn’t like the “direct order” and don’t tell her what she can or can’t do. (Oh, how I remember my mom! If Dad told her she couldn’t do something? She’d turn around and do it in a heartbeat). Chloe then says she won’t go, but is concerned when EJ says he wants to be there when their baby is born.
