GL: Shayne attempts suicide and then meets Lara's father

Monday 1/26; Dinah tries to talk Shayne out of jumping off the roof and says if he’s going she’s going with him. She gets on the ledge next to him, when she starts to go over he pulls them back and takes her to Cedars. When he he knows she will be okay he goes to leave and she tells him about being shot in the head last year and that she understands how he feels.
At the chapel Reva, Josh and Jeffrey are shocked when Edmund shows up claiming to be Lara’s father. He tells them how Lara found him at the hospital and he couldn’t believe he had a daughter who was so decent and kind (totally unlike him that’s for sure). She told him she was getting engaged to Shayne and thinking she was after money he had a DNA test done to make sure she really was his daughter.
Josh calls Shayne and tells him and Dinah about Edmund. They arrive at Company and tell Reva and Josh that they can’t believe that Edmund is her father. Just as Reva tells Shayne that Jeffrey is escorting Edmund out of town, Edmund walks in and hugs Shayne, taking him by surprise. Shayne doesn’t believe he’s her father. Edmund wants to know how she died and Reva and Josh tell Edmund to leave.
Lizzie takes over
Lizzie arrives at Alan’s suite in New York, with Cyrus in tow, to meet with the investors. She has the miniature model of Springfield that Phillip left. Lizzie says they are going to take over Springfield. She and Cyrus go shopping. When she gets back to her room Cyrus comes and has some files from one of the investors, which she gives to her. It also has some personal information about that investor.
Lizzie has really turned into a hard person and says she will do anything to get control. Lizzie, Alan and Cyrus meet with the investors. Lizzie takes full control but deferes to Alan as the point man. Lizzie makes innuendo’s to the one investor about his personal info. She isn’t pleased when Alan says he plans on tearing Company down, now that he owns it.
Bill looks for Phillip
After finding a note as to where Phillip might be, Bill tells Bill that he’s off to find Phillip. Billy wants to go with but Bill says he’s going alone. Bill then heads off with his GPS.
