DOOL: Chloe Breaks Up with Lucas; Dr. Baker blackmails Nicole

Wednesday 2/11; After Chloe runs out, Maggie tells Daniel not to follow her. He says it’s none of her business. Chloe gives Lucas back his ring and tells him she loves him, which confuses Lucas. She doesn’t think she is good enough for him. Check out the spoiler on this. Lucas tries to reason with her as she continues to have memories about their trysts. Lucas wants to know why she won’t look at him. She says she’s not good enough for him. She leaves and goes to Daniel’s.
Dr. Baker arrives at the DiMeras’ mansion and threatens Nicole with blackmail. When Nicole stands her ground, he won’t buckle. She tries to kick him out and he says he expects $10,000 from her tonight in return for his to keep his mouth shut. Nicole calls Brady for help. She tells him about Dr. Baker stopping by and begs him not to turn his back on Sydney. Brady wants to know how much and then says that he doesn’t have access to his trust fund because of his previous drug problem. Nicole lashes out at Brady when he turns her down and slips, saying something about Sami. When Brady questions her she covers and turns on the charm. Brady will try to figure a way to help her.
Melanie breaks into Titan’s computers
Melanie tells E.J. that she didn’t mean, literally, that she wanted Phillip ‘eliminated.’ E.J. tells Melanie that he hasn’t see the blueprints for the Alternative Fuel Project, so he really doesn’t know how viable it will be. Melanie realizes what she has to do.
Melanie tries to break into the Titan computer and can’t figure out Phillip’s password. After several tries, the computer starts beeping. When she types in Stephanie as the password, everything is fine.
Will Stephanie and Phillip make up or part?
Stephanie arrives at the fundraiser and sees Phillip. She tells him that she talke to her mom and even though Kayla thought she should break things off with Phillip, Stephanie isn’t ready to do that yet – she loves him. When she goes to the rest room, Phillip meets with the guy who served the injunction papers on Melanie, as Stephanie returns and overhears. She tells Phillip he knows what she has to do.
At the end of the show, Brady breaks into Victor’s safe, and gives Nicole the money she needs for Dr. Baker, just as Victor enters.
E.J. is surprised to learn that Nicole isn’t at the mansion but had to run an errand.
