DOOL: Maggie confronts Chloe; Kayla is attacked

Monday 2/2; After Maggie catches Chloe coming out of Daniel’s apartment she lays into Chloe. Chloe asks to let her explain and Maggie says she can’t and walks off. Chloe follows her says ‘it just happened’ and that her and Daniel tried to fight their feelings. Maggie tells Chloe that she will not keep quiet. Chloe pleads her case and asks Maggie if to remember when she did basically the same thing. This made Maggie think. Lucas comes in and Maggie doesn’t say anything. Lucas tells Chloe that Kate wants them to set a wedding date and goes to take a phone call. Maggie wants to know what Chloe is going to do about Daniel and warns that she will be keeping an eye on them.
The killer tries to strangle Kayla when she says she recognizes him. Daniel comes to the rescue, sedates the killer and has restraints put on him. The killer then goes into cardiac arrest and Daniel saves him. Kayla then thinks she knows how she recognized the killer and calls Steve, leaving a message. She then calls Hope and says that she thinks a patient is the Mayor’s killer. The killer gets out of his restraints and goes after Kayla,
Sami, Nicole, Dr. Baker and Rafe
Dr. Baker brings Mia’s baby to Sami and she thrilled. She says they’re safe now and then realizes that they aren’t. Sami wants Sister Theresa to take her back to the convent.
Nicole calls the mansion and is shocked when E.J. answers, she thinks he’s supposed to be in Italy for another day. She wants Dr. Baker to get rid of Sami and put her in a birthing room. Dr. Baker enters Sami’s room and she’s gone.
At the safe house we find out that Rafe was also injured in the knife fight with the killer, he was stabbed in the leg. He uses a belt as a tourniquet above the wound, and being worried about Sami goes to the convent looking for her. He is told that she and Sister Theresa left some time ago. Just then, Sami, Sister Theresa and the baby walk in. Rafe is so happy to see them, he was afraid he would never see them again. He tells them that they are NOT safe and then proceeds to pass out.
Back at the hospital Nicole has Dr. Baker call E.J. saying that Nicole is in labor and that she’s at the Clinic. Dr. Baker warns Nicole that the baby looks a lot like her birth mother and she should pray that her luck holds out. In the birthing room E.J. arrives and sees Nicole and the ‘newborn’, he missed the birth.
