DOOL: Nicole and Sami clash; Daniel won't give up; Kate sees a kiss

Wednesday 2/25; E.J. tells Nicole to mind her own business about the AFP and leaves. Nicole calls Phillip and says she can’t convince E.J. to dump the project and he says he’ll just have to talk with E.J. E.J. gets a phone call from Phillip and wants to talk to him, as Phillip is about to tell E.J. everything Phillip learns about being in the hospital and rushes out.
Nicole rushes off to see Phillip and says, “Can things get any worse?” She opens the door and there is Sami! (I guess things CAN get worse, Nicole. LOL) Nicole wants to know what she’s doing there and Sami says she came to get her baby. Of course, Nicole panics and thinks Sami knows about the baby switch. When Nicole questions Sami (“What baby?”), Sami says Johnny, of course. Nicole tells her that he’s with Grandma Caroline. Nicole starts sparring with Sami and when Sami doesn’t bite, Nicole won’t let up.
Nicole boasts hows much love and affection E.J. lavishes on her. Sami says that she bets the wedding will never happen. Just then, E.J. walks in and the soft, kind, loving look on his face when he sees Sami, is priceless. E.J. says he’s surprised to see her, and Sami says that she’s always full of surprises. Nicole tells E.J. that she told Sami that Johnny wasn’t there and she wouldn’t leave, AND also told her that they would make arrangements with Sami about seeing Johnny; no more surprise visits. Sami looks at E.J. and says, “Speaking of surprises, I hear you’ve set a wedding date. You’re really going to marry the bitch, eh?”
Nicole verbally attacks Sami, and E.J. breaks it up. He just wants everyone to get along for Johnny’s sake and his sake. Just then, we hear Sydney crying through the baby monitor. E.J. goes to take care of Sydney, and Sami goes to leave, when E.J. brings Sydney in and asks Sami if he would like to hold Sydney – Nicole freaks out!
Kate is sitting with Lucas, and he blames himself for taking that first drink and apologizes to Kate for making her have to worry about him, with everything she’s going through. Kate tells him she found out today that she’s in remission and she’s going to do everything in her power to get Chloe and Lucas back together. He tells her that Chloe wants the engagement back on, but Lucas isn’t sure. Kate is thrilled.
In the hospital hallway, Chloe insists to Daniel that it is over and he can’t stop it. Daniel tells Chloe that he isn’t going to let her out of his sight. They go to the park to talk and she tells him about praying to God and that she has to give Daniel up. He tells her that’s insane. She says she has a second chance with Lucas, and she’s going after it.
Daniel tells Chloe that he will tell Lucas the truth about them and that will let her off the hook. She begs Daniel not to do that; if he does, she will never be with him.
Back at the hospital room, Kate says she’s going to go back after Daniel, and then leaves. At the park, Chloe gives Daniel a goodbye kiss, and Kate witnesses it. Oh, the look on her face! God help you, Chloe!
