DOOL Spoiler Alert: Chloe dumps Daniel

After the explosion, Chloe finds Lucas’ lifeless body. She, of course, blames herself. She pleads with God and says, “If you bring her him back, I promise to make everything right.” She says she’s going to be a good wife to Lucas, a good mother to Allie and will give up Daniel —and then Lucas comes back to life but has amnesia and doesn’t remember her sleeping with Daniel. (Only in a soap opera!)
At the hospital, Daniel tells Chloe that Lucas is going to be fine; it’s almost a miracle — like the explosion never happened. Chloe thinks it must have been because she prayed, and tells Daniel they are through. Daniel is hurt and tries to reason with her. Chloe explains that she prayed to God and she can’t go back on that. Daniel tells her she’ll regret that decision some day.
Daniel and Chloe share a farewell kiss, which Kate witnesses! Kate vows to get revenge on Chloe — remember, hell hath no fury like a Kate Roberts scorned.
