DOOL: Victor is wary of Melanie; Maggie almost tells Lucas;

Friday 2/6; For being a Friday I thought that it might be more of a cliff-hanger than it was, however, I will highlight the events of the day 
Stephanie thanks Phillip for being at the hospital and both say they are falling in love with each other, she leaves to see her Mom and Melanie arrives telling Phillip that she’s having second thoughts about keeping the project at Titan. Every time she comes in she sees Phillip with his “sex-kitten”.
Victor talks to Brady about Melanie. When Brady says he thinks she is still in their camp, Victor warns him about trusting women like her. He then reminds Brady about Nicole Walker, and what a conniving bitch she is.
Melanie calls E.J. and says that she is thinking about going with the DiMera’s. E.J. tells Melanie that it’s not a good time to talk as he and his fiance just had a new baby. Melaine continues to “talk” to E.J. and acts like it’s reciprocal. E.J. is very confused and hangs up.
Melanie tells Phillip that she is upset about Stephanie and he tells her she is childish. Victor walks in and she tells him that she fired Phillip and leaves. Victor says that Melanie has become a liability and Phillip says he tried to warn Victor about her.
Lucas arrives at the hospital with flowers for Kayla. Maggie tells him there is something he needs to know about Chloe, Daniel sweats. Kate arrives, for blood work, and asks Lucas if they (her, Lucas, and Chloe) are supposed to meet at the Cheating Heart to set a wedding date. Maggie starts to have second thoughts about telling Lucas.
Chloe goes to Daniel’s and is scared when she finds out that Maggie confronted him and that he told Maggie that he won’t end their affair. Chloe says it has to end now and that she’s going to walk out the door. Yeah, right! They melt into each others’ arms.
Kate and Lucas meet at the Cheating Heart and when he calls Chloe it goes to voicemail. Kate wants to move up the wedding date to help Chloe feel more secure, especially now that it seems Sami will be coming home soon.
E.J., Nicole, and Brady
Brady goes to see Nicole and sees her with Sydney. She tells im it’s Mia’s baby. Brady tells her that her nightmare is just beginning and wanrs her that Mia could change her mind, there is no legal contract. As they are arguing E.J. arrives and wants to know what Brady is doing there and why he is hollering at his fiance. Just then Sydney starts crying and Nicole screams that the is something wrong with the baby! (Is there really something wrong with Sydney or is Nicole trying to get E.J. and Brady away from each other?)
