Spoiler Alert: Chloe Returns Lucas's Ring; will he return to the bottle?

Even though Lucas has seen the warnings and red flags in his relationship with Chloe, there is always something that throws him off the trail of suspicion. Anytime anyone (Victor, Maggie, etc.) talks badly about Chloe, he defends her and her past.
At the hospital fundraiser, Chloe writes a song for Lucas and serenades him. He is very flattered and happy, when all of a sudden, she runs out.
He finds Chloe on the pier and they have it out. Lucas is very confused, and of course, Chloe, gives him the old line ‘I’m not good enough for you, you deserve better.’ She then returns his ring. (Chloe, can’t you be honest with Lucas about Daniel for once in your life?!)
She leaves, and guess where she goes? Yep, to Daniel’s apartment. Kate arrives at the pier and Lucas finally tells her what happened. When Kate, who has always been supportive of Chloe, says, ‘I told you she’d do this,’ it really sets Lucas off.
Lucas is a recovering alcoholic, Maggie is his sponsor. I think this is one reason that Maggie was hesitant about telling Lucas what she found out about Chloe and Daniel.
Lucas has to be confused and hurt. Will he think that being noble hasn’t done him any good? Will he turn back to the bottle? I can only hope that Lucas will talk to Maggie and go back to AA meetings. Lucas deserves so much better.

Daniel tells him to lay off Chloe, Victor asks if there is something going on between him and Chloe and then proceeds to tell him that Chloe and Lucas have set a wedding date. Daniel blances. Chloe serenades Lucas. [...]
