Tuesday 2/24; Paul calls Michael and tells him what he found out about Emma Gibson. Michael heads for the jail to see Gloria. In the meantime, Jeffrey visits Gloria and tells her that he’s leaving her, he’s tired of waiting for her to sign the divorce papers.

Gloria sees bad images of all of the other inmates attacking her when Michael arrives. Gloria tells him she knows about the court date, that the walls are closing in on her, and she needs to talk to him. She gives Michael a heartwarming confession, that she only wanted respect from John’s family and is devastated that Emma Gibson died. She is truly sorry for putting Michael through this.

Michael tells Gloria that Emma died from a reaction to food. Emma has a son from a previous marriage who had the same reaction and is now mentally impaired and institutionalized. That is why Andrew Gibson sued Jabot, in order to get money to help care for his stepson. Gloria is shocked and wants Michael to tell her again that she was not to blame for Emma’s death.

Roger tells Clint that he and Esther married, while Jill is telling Esther that Roger is a bigamist. Esther, of course, doesn’t believe it and accuses Jill of being jealous because SHE has a man and Jill doesn’t. Esther gets ready to go on her honeymoon, and Jill tells her that she (Esther) is brainwashed.

Katherine is listening to Roger bragging about his conquest with Esther when she remembers Esther. Katherine says Esther Valentine is a wonderful woman, and Roger is a cad. When Roger talks about taking Esther on a honeymoon to the Caribbean, Annie is visibly shaken. Katherine has quite a few words with Clint and Roger and tells Clint that if they want their hands on the Chancellor fortune, to go through her; leave the poor innocent Esther alone.

Clint tells Annie to stop mooning forĀ  Roger and tells her to tie “Margie” up tight. Annie starts to knit and tells Katherine that she was the first Mrs. Roger Wilkes.

Victoria tells Nikki about Colleen taking Brad’s seat on the board; Nikki wishes she could have seen the look on Victor’s face. Colleen comes in and tells them that she is scared to death about taking on Victor. They offer her some advice and tips, and Victoria says to call her at the office if she has any questions. Nikki advises Victoria to line up with Colleen; she’s going to need all the help she can get.
