Y&R: Katherine has DNA test; Roger wants Esther to Elope

Wednesday 2/11; Michael brings Katherine a court order from the judge ordering a DNA test, after Michael had presented the judge with sufficient evidence. Jill also received a court order and says she won’t do the test and doesn’t care what the judge says.
Amber reminds Katherine that she has to go for her CAT scan, and Katherine is scared. After the scan she paces at Murphy’s, worried about the results.
In the meantime, Roger gives Esther an airline ticket to Las Vegas and says what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than to elope? When Jill hears this, she can’t believe that Esther is that stupid.
Esther learns about the court order and advises Jill to take the DNA test to prove once and for all that this woman is an impostor. Jill’s attorney says that if Jill refuses she will be in contempt of court, so she takes the DNA test.
At Murphy’s, the doctor calls and when Katherine hangs up, she starts sobbing in Murphy’s arms. She says she doesn’t have Alzheimer’s or dementia. They still don’t know what’s causing the memory lapses, but it’s not either of what she was so afraid of.
Noah’s going to be in big trouble
Nick shows Phyllis the water bottle and has her smell it – it’s liquor. Not knowing all the facts, Phyllis tries to be objective. Due to the way Cassie died, Nick isn’t objective and immediately blames Eden, saying this is the second time, that they know about, those two have been together and alcohol has been involved.
Nick sees Lauren at the coffee house and tells her about the bottle. He basically accuses Lauren and Michael of not having a good enough eye on things going on in their own home regarding Eden. Lauren says that the kids are in love and exploring. Nick says that Eden and Noah can no longer see each other or be friends.
The new, improved Phyllis?
Phyllis goes to see Michael and tells him about Nick sleeping with Sharon and that she’s going out of her mind. She tells him that Nick told her he was in love with both her and Sharon. Michael can’t believe that Phyllis stayed calm. She says that Sharon “is the voice of reason,” and she’s known as being “hell on wheels,” so she needs to stay calm to keep Nick. She says she loves Nick and will bite her tongue if she has to.
Nick calls Sharon, who is at Jack’s, and says they need to talk about Noah. They’ll meet tomorrow. He tells Phyllis about the meeting and says she is welcome to come along. She says that this is something that Sharon and Nick have to deal with together, and anything that he needs from her she will do, and gives him a big hug.
Amber’s big break!
Lauren compliments Daniel on the Restless Style issue and was hoping that his outfit was an original. She’d like to carry it exclusively at Fenmore’s Boutique. Daniel says it’s one of Amber’s designs. Daniel tells Amber about Lauren’s offer and she is thrilled.
At the end of the show, Roger hears from Cliff and tells him that it’s a go for eloping with Esther. Cliff says he wants a complete inventory of the Chancellor mansion by next week.
