GL: Lizzie's breakdown; The Four Musketeers

Friday 3/6; On Thursday’s show, Lizzie listens to the cell phone message again and wants Cyrus to take her to the police station. Phillip is listening in the hall and tells Lizzie he will take her. Cyrus tells Grady about Lizzie, and Grady sends her a text message saying, “He is still here and warns her not to go to the police.” Lizzie shows Cyrus the text message and thinks that Phillip is the kidnapper, as he is the only one who knew she was going to go to the police. (Hello! What about Cyrus?!) Lizzie goes to Alan for help, and when she sees Phillip, she tells him she knows he is the kidnapper and tells Lillian that Phillip is trying to kidnap her again.
Grady tells Daisy that he will testify against Alan on Buzz’s behalf. Cyrus tells Grady that he will NOT testify. Buzz goes to Doris, the mayor, and tells her about Grady testifying. He tells Doris that whoever takes down Alan will be revered as the greatest legal mind of all times. She goes to get an arrest warrant.
Alan tells Lizzie that she can help, that only she can convince Grady Foley not to testify, and to do anything that she has to.
Friday
Lizzie goes to see Grady and says she wants to make a deal with him. He says everyone wants to make a deal. She warns him that her grandfather, Alan, has a lot more power than Doris ever will. Grady is not in the least bit afraid and says he will take Alan down. Lizzie tells Grady that her kidnapper is still out there, and Alan is the only one who can protect her. Grady says too bad. (Hello, Lizzie! Grady IS the kidnapper, and Alan is working with him!)
Lizzie sees Cyrus and tells him about threatening Grady. Cyrus says that wasn’t a good idea, but bribing Grady with money would be better. She offers a million dollars and says she can have it in a half hour. Cyrus calls Grady and tells him the offer. They agree to meet at the Cannery Warehouse (Why there? That’s where Grady held Lizzie hostage!)
Grady calls Daisy and says they are going to Towers tonight; he’s coming into some money. He does stop by the house and gives her his dog tags (I’m sure we’ll learn more about this next week!)
Lizzie goes to meet Cyrus with the money, and as he’s changing shirts, she sees the scar where she stabbed her kidnapper. Freaking out, Lizzie hides. Buzz calls Grady asking him to meet him at the police station, so Grady leaves.
Buzz finds out that Alan posted bail, and Buzz tries to get Frank’s gun. Alan comes in and taunts Buzz about Coop’s death.
Alan thanks Phillip for bailing him out. Phillip says he didn’t; he has been too concerned about Lizzie. Alan says that HE is protecting Lizzie, and Phillip says it’s not the type of protection Lizzie needs – there are just some lines you don’t cross.
The Four Musketeers
It is so good to have Mindy, Phillip, Beth and Rick at their 25th reunion. First, Mindy gets together with Beth, and they share some wonderful memories. Mindy asks Beth if Phillip is okay and when Beth breaks down, Mindy comforts her. Billy sees Mindy, and father and daughter are thrilled to see each other. At the reunion, they all sit together and reminisce. (There will be more next week!)
As Rick goes to see “pizza face,” and Beth and Mindy go to check out a high school hottie, Phillip is alone at the table when Beth’s cell phone rings. Phillip answers it and hears Lizzie screaming that she knows who the kidnapper is, and that’s she is at the Cannery Warehouse and saw the scar, and please help.
Phillip rushes to get to Lizzie, and holds her and says, “Daddy’s here.” Lizzie sees Phillip and freaks out and doesn’t want him to touch her. She has an emotional breakdown and remembers when Phillip kidnapped her several years ago. She tells him about Grady and the money, and curls up in a ball. Phillip backs away and gently talks to her about how he remembers when she was a baby and always wanted to protect her. He says he will always be there with her, and can he take her home? She goes with Phillip.
Lizzie sees Cyrus and tells him that Grady is the kidnapper and she is afraid that Grady did something to Bill.
Phillip calls Grady and tells him to meet him at the Cliffs.
