YR: Adam having vision problems; Victor's birthday and Ashley's surprise; Kevin tormented

Friday 3/6; Paul talks to Heather about her going to Victor about Adam. Heather says she is just trying to be compassionate. Paul says that Adam doesn’t deserve any compassion, which upsets Heather. In Adam’s prison cell he is trying to read and is having problems with his vision.
Heather goes to see Adam and gives him the name of another public defender who might be able to help him. Adam is upset with Heather and everything she did to get him locked up, and kicks her out. As Heather is leaving, she drops her purse and doesn’t retrieve everything that fell out. She has the guard bring her back, which Adam doesn’t notice. While Heather is retrieving her things, she sees Adam walking around his cell and into a chair that he obviously didn’t see.
Sharon’s sticky fingers again
Sharon brings Doris, in a wheelchair, to Crimson Lights. Doris is still worried about Sharon, while Sharon downplays it and says she is just fine. Sharon spills Doris’s tea and goes to get another. While at the counter, Sharon sees a cell phone on the counter and picks it up and puts it in her purse as Doris looks on from the table. Doris wheels over and takes the phone out of Sharon’s purse and puts it on the counter; the owner picks it up and leaves. Sharon says she has no idea how it got there and Doris tells her she saw Sharon put it in her purse. Doris says, “Will you NOW go see a doctor?” Sharon insists she doesn’t need any help, and Doris asks her to take her home.
Birthday party surprises
At the Athletic Club, Nick, Phyllis, Victoria, and J.T. join Victor and Ashley to celebrate Victor’s birthday. Nikki is meeting Paul there for dinner, and wistfully looks on. Victor has to leave the table for a moment; J.T. gets a phone call and goes out to take it; Victoria excuses herself. Phyllis tells Nick about this gorgeous floral arrangement in the lobby so they go to see it, and that leaves Ashley sitting alone at the table.
Victor runs into Nikki, who tells him that Katherine’s ring is being auctioned off, and is there anything he can do to stop the auction? He says he will see what he can do, which thrills Nikki. Paul comes in, and Nikki tells him about Victor helping him. Paul thinks Victor has ulterior motives. Paul gets paged and says he will meet Nikki out front.
Phyllis and Nick can’t keep their hands off each other (so much for looking at the floral arrangement, LOL), and Nick says that nothing will ever come between them again. Phyllis goes to fix her face, and Sharon walks by and is upset that Nick said “never again.”
Ashley sees Victor at the bar and says she was too busy planning the party to buy him a gift. Victor asks if she made him one. With a twinkle in her eye she tells him that she did; well, actually they made it together. Ashley is pregnant! Victor tells her it’s the best birthday present. Ashley asks him not to say anything yet.
Everyone is giving Victor his presents, and Nick excuses himself for a minute. Abby asks Ashley what she gave Victor and Ashley says, “Nothing,” and Abby is like, “Not even a tie?” Victor says that actually, she gave him the best birthday present and then announces that his “lovely Ashley” is pregnant with their child, as Nikki is walking past their table.
Obviously everyone is shocked. Victoria doesn’t look happy at all. Phyllis says it’s great news, and she has to find Nick to tell him about it. And where is Nick? Oh, that cad has gone to Sharon’s room, and when she opens the doorm Nick and Sharon end up in a passionate kiss and embrace! (So much for nothing ever coming between them again!)
An explosive ending
Amber goes to Crimson Lights looking for Kevin, and Gloria mentions that Kevin has been gone for a long time.
Kevin is locked in the trunk of Clint’s car and is screaming for help, trying to get out of the trunk.
Clint sets the timer on the bomb, and he, Annie, and Roger leave. Katherine and Esther try to get loose and are screaming for help. Katherine falls over, still tied to the chair.
Amber leaves Crimson Lights to find Kevin, and Gloria follows. Clint, Roger, and Annie drive away with Kevin still in the trunk. Kevin is having horrible flashbacks from when he was a little boy and was locked in a closet by his father. When they stop and unlock the trunk, Kevin is curled up and is in obvious distress.
Amber knocks on the door of the motel and, hearing Esther and Katherine scream for help, uses the housekeeping cart to break through the locked door. As she is working on getting them untied, she sees the bomb. Just then, Gloria comes in to help Amber. Gloria, Esther, Amber and Katherine run out the door, Katherine falls into the housekeeping cart, and the bomb goes off.
