Thursday 3/12; Kevin is whimpering in the closet when Clint opens it, and Kevin says he’s thirsty. Clint tells him he can have anything he wants as long as he does what “Daddy” says. A confused Kevin starts asking for his Mommy and screams for her. Clint locks Kevin back in the closet.
Kevin hallucinates hearing Gloria’s voice trying to get Clint to let him loose; he also ‘sees’ Gloria at the door trying to free him. Kevin begs Clint to let him out of the closet – he promises to be good. Clint lets Kevin out and says, “Let’s play a game. If you play your cards right you can have dinner at the table”.
Victor sees Adam sitting at a table, and it’s obvious Adam doesn’t see him. Victor sits across from Adam, who sees the blurred vision of Victor and asks what he wants. Victor says he wants to help Adam, that Heather told him about the problems with his eyesight. Adam denies it and says he doesn’t want anything from Victor. Victor leaves and goes back to his office.
Neil and Karen are in Neil’s office, and he tells her that they need to talk about the kiss that happened several weeks ago. Karen tells him she doesn’t like where her thoughts go when he’s working late at night, with Tyra working along his side. She says Tyra doesn’t understand boundaries and asks Neil to fire Tyra for the sake of their marriage.
Neil is trying to defend Tyra, and Karen loses it and asks why he’s protecting her. Victor then enters, apologizes for interrupting, and asks Neil to come to his office.
After Neil leaves, Tyra comes in, says she has some checks that need to be signed for Indigo, and asks Karen if she knows where Neil is. Karen accuses Tyra of trying to break up her marriage to Neil and tells Tyra, “Just stay the hell away from my husband,” and Tyra leaves.
The emerald ring
Nikki sees Jill at Crimson Lights and Jill says that “the old hag” finally admitted to being Marge. Nikki receives a package: Katherine’s emerald ring. Nikki puts the ring on and Jill leaves. Nikki goes to Victor’s office and thanks him for getting the ring back for her.
Katherine is released from the hospital, and Amber gets her a room at the Athletic Club. Kay says she will do whatever she can to prove who she is, and Amber says she will help. Katherine tells Amber to go see Daniel and she is going to have some lunch in the dining room.
Jill sees Katherine at her table and wants to know what she’s doing in a private club. Katherine again tries to convince Jill that she IS her mother. Jill says she heard her admit to being Marge; Jill says she was standing outside her hospital room. Katherine tells her if Jill had bothered to come in she would have learned it was a ruse. It was either say she was Marge or the psychiatrist was going to have her committed. Jill tells her she wishes she HAD been committed, and walks out.
Katherine then sees Nikki at the bar and joins her. She asks Nikki to open her heart a little and listen to what she has to say. Nikki asks Katherine to stop playing this sick game. Katherine sees the ring and asks Nikki to please listen to her.
Finishing the day up
Victor tells Neil about Ashley’s pregnancy, and says he will be relying on him. Neil explains that he and Karen are adopting Ana, and he will need to spend more time with the family but whatever Victor needs, he will be there for him. Victor says they will work together, but they both need to have their families come first.
Neil comes back and tells Karen he’s been thinking about their discussion. She first hands him the checks that Tyra dropped off. Neil tells her that she, Mrs. Winters, is his first priority. He is going to let Tyra go. He goes to Indigo; Tyra is talking about inventory, etc., and Neil says they need to talk.
Victor writes a letter to Adam and delivers it in person. After handing Adam the letter, Victor pretends to leave. He sees that Adam is having trouble reading the letter. Victor sits next to Adam.
Kevin, wearing a chipmunk head, goes to a bank with gun in hand, and robs it.
