Let's help save Guiding Light!

I cannot believe that CBS has canceled Guiding Light. This show has been on the air for 72 years, between radio and television. I started watching it at a young age on my Granny’s knee.
GL has brought back actor Grant Aleksander, in the role of Phillip Spaulding, who had been gone for 4 years. They have also been exploring the female relationship of Olivia and Natalia “Otavia” for several months with reality, compassion and their becoming true friends.
The ratings have risen from 1.3 in November to 1.9 in March. Granted Guiding Light is the lowest rating CBS soap but they ARE on the rebound, so why is this show being canceled? Is this an April Fool’s joke? Gawd I hope so!
If not, I encourage all viewers to contact CBS and let them know that you don’t want this show cancelled. It’s been done before, let’s do it again!

Dear To whom makes concert ,
I heard that my favorite soap opera the guiding light is going be taking off of the air ? And so understand this guiding light should n’t be take off of the air because it is my favorite show on cbs and also is as the world turns is favorite show on cbs too? I have been watching guiding light for years and I lookford to monday thought Friday see what happen with favorite show? It not going be same without seeing guiding light everyweek? Everybody on guiding light is favorite people on show? I wanted to Reva son collin grow up on the show and also everybody else kids on the show also ? So don’t take my favorite the guiding light off of the air? Guiding light give good story lines ? Write back. I ‘m not giving up on guiding light it should stay on the air for long time?

Instead of taking Guiding Light off the air why didn’t they try to find another time slot that would accommidate the working mothers. Why do people have VCR’s? They could tape the soaps and watch them latter that day or on week-ends, there is no excuse. I intend to stop watching CBS completely as the other soap I is also on another cable channel, plus I intend to never purchase Proctor and Gamble products till Guiding light returns. Were Canadians left out of the survey they made before they pulled the plug on my favourate soap, Guiding Light. I used to sit beside my mother and listened to it on the radio when I was a little girl, when TV first came out we couldn’t afford one. I would put my arms arround Mom when she cried by the radio, or she would smile down at me, listening to Guiding Light. I will deeply miss Guiding Light, it is like the loss of a child to me.

Please Pick favorite show for your network because ya’ll be getting best show . I ‘m not going give up until favorite is saved . Guiding light give best storyline ever . I have been watching guiding light for years and guiding light is my second family and I ‘m asking please pick up gudiing light because I don’t want lose guiding light forever ?They deserve second chance to stay on the air for a long time? I also lookford to every hoilday on favorite show and to see all of favorite with their family and make my holiday ever better? Thanks for your time,
