#GL Spoiler: Is Phillip dying?

Phillip struggles with his devastating diagnosis: an infection that has destroyed a lot of tissue in his lung, leaving him with only three months to live.
Phillip secretly seeks treatment from Lilian, who is stunned by his condition. Phillip needs someone to manage his care in Springfield because Ed is not there. She urges Phillip to tell the rest of the family the truth, but he refuses. He doesn’t want to ruin the Bauer barbecue or Lizzie and Bill’s wedding. He’ll tell them when he thinks the time is right.
Will the GL scribes use Phillip’s death for the end of GL on CBS in September? OR will there be a miraculous cure that will allow Phillp and Beth to have a happy reunion? I personally am hoping for the happy reunion.
