#GL Spoiler: Phillip and Beth kiss

Bill and Lizzie’s wedding stirs up old feelings for the bride’s proud parents. It’s a happy day and they’re comfortable with each other. After they share a sweet dance at the reception, Phillip takes Beth out for a walk and plants an unexpected kiss on his ex. It’s a wonderful surprise for Beth, and although she knows she loves him, she wasn’t expecting that one kiss to be so powerful.
Not knowing that Phillip is sick and dying, Beth is taken aback when he apologizes and says it won’t happen again. Beth is confused and heartbroken, but she loves him enough to want his happiness, regardless if he wants her or not.
