#Y&R Spoiler: Lily's devastating prognosis

Lily has really been through an emotional wringer lately. Her marriage to Cane went bust when he was exposed as a fraud. Lily then found out she was pregnant, only to learn that Cane was leaving town. Then Lily found out she wasn’t pregnant after all: she had a mass on her ovary that was producing false positive pregnancy tests, and had to have further testing.
While anxiously awaiting the test results, Lily can’t help but wish that Cane is by her side. Despite what has happened, Lily realizes that life is too short to just give up on someone.
Olivia, Neil, and Devon enter Lily’s room, and it’s revealed that Lily has cancer! Neil tries to be strong and urges his daughter not to give up. Olivia outlines the course of treatment and Lily is shocked to learn that even if she survives, she will most likely lose her reproductive organs. Lily is devastated.
Colleen visits Lily and learns the news. Lily tells Colleen how much she needs Cane right now. Colleen tells Billy and Mac what’s going on and asks Billy to find Cane. Of course, Billy refuses. Mac decides to track Cane down and finds him at the bus station, where he’s preparing to leave town. Mac tells him he can’t leave; Lily needs him. When Cane doesn’t believe it, Mac blurts out, “You can’t leave—Lily has cancer.” Mac convinces Cane to remain in Genoa City and offers Billy’s trailer for lodging. Cane asks Mac to do something for him to help Lily.
Mac shows up at the hospital with a laptop and DVDs of Lily’s favorite movies. This immediately calms Lily down and makes her really happy—Mac doesn’t say anything about Cane being behind it. Afterwards, Mac returns to the trailer and fills Cane in. After she leaves, Billy shows up to find Cane coming out of the shower. He immediately thinks Cane and Mac are sleeping together (so much for his trust in Mac—the jerk!) He kicks Cane out, and Cane has nowhere to go.
Meanwhile, Olivia tells Lily that she has one of the leading gynecological oncologists to perform Lily’s surgery that day. Lily wants her eggs harvested first and Olivia tells her there is no time. Lily sneaks out of the hospital to search for Cane.
Will word get to Cane in time, or has Billy already driven him out of town?
