#DOOL Spoiler: Dr. Baker dies

Rafe arrives in the Dominican Republic and locates Dr. Baker—unfortunately, he’s dead. A thug knocks Rafe out and plants a rope in his hand to frame Rafe. Sami, who followed Rafe, finds him and he realizes it’s a set up. The two clear out the “evidence” and make their getaway, but first Sami finds a business card for Baker’s lawyer and pockets it.
Back in Salem, Nicole starts bugging Stefano about that sleazy worm, Baker, and Stefano replies that Baker is dead. Stefano orchestrated the hit, and it’s taken care of. A panicked Nicole reveals that Baker’s lawyer has a tell-all letter detailing Nicole’s baby switching crime—the letter is to be sent to the authorities in the event of his death.
After finding out who the lawyer is, Stefano invites him to the DiMera mansion. Stefano threatens him and says he’ll give him plenty of money if he gets out of Salem. The lawyer turns the letter over to Stefano and Stefano leaves the room. It’s not going to be smooth sailing for Nicole, however, as the lawyer reveals to her that there are actually two other letters and they have already been mailed—one to Mia and the other to Sami. Nothing seems to go Nicole’s way.
A desperate Nicole goes to Sami’s and pokes around. She manages to intercept the letter, but Rafe arrives before she can leave. She takes off to the bathroom and Rafe goes after her.
By week’s end, Chad sneaks into Mia’s room to read the diary that she has been writing on her laptop! Chad then spies the letter she received…
(I am SOOO ready for this baby switch storyline to be over! Well, for Nicole to get caught, anyhow. The aftermath should be incredible. Will Nicole leave town? Her portrayer, Arianne Zuker, will be going on maternity leave, so… What impact will this have on Mia when she finds out that Grace was her daughter? Will Sami and EJ reunite with Sydney?)
