#Y&R Fall Preview

Story lines get kicked up a notch or three this fall for the residents of Genoa City. Co-head writer Scott Hammer offers some of the details:
- Consequences are going to be very, very extreme for Sharon.There will be machinations by the people around her which will make her a very different, a stronger character. When the truth comes out about why she has made the decisions that she’s made, she’s going to be seen in a very different light. It’s going to cost her emotionally and physically, and it’s going to dramatically alter her love interests — perhaps a new one or an old/new one.
- Mary Jane continues to come unglued; she’s going to become more and more dangerous. Her moods and her actions are going to escalate, and people are really going to love where this is going, because it will to take us back to the epic feud and rivalry between Jack and Victor.
- Jeff and Gloria are going to outdo themselves — is that possible? They will even get swept up in the convergence of events, and numerous stories will interconnect. It’s going to appear to them that they have found a way to win their fortune back.
- Adam is an interesting character because he’s so similar to Victor, in that he’s got a terribly dark side and a light side as well. He’s not a complete sociopath. He has a conscience, and it bothers him, and yet he takes these terrible actions. He is out to really injure Victor as badly as he possibly can, and at the same time he craves approval and wants love, so we’re going to see him struggle with that.
- Chloe has been obsessed with Billy for a number of years, and she is now using Chance to make him jealous. And Chance is just the opposite of the kind of guy that Chloe could ever imagine she would be interested in. Is Chloe going to discover that her plan is backfiring, because she’s starting to fall for Chance?
