#DOOL Spoiler: Nicole throws Brady under the bus

Last week, EJ picked up Nicole’s phone, and the connection was very poor and full of static. Brady, thinking it’s Nicole, blurts out, “The secret is out.” EJ confronts Nicole and wants to know what the secret is. Obviously, Nicole is not very forthcoming.
Thinking fast, Nicole throws Brady under the bus by telling EJ that Brady is back on drugs, and he’s saying delusional, whacked-out things. Not believing her, EJ insists they leave Paris NOW, so they can confront Brady together. Back in Salem, Nicole secretly meets with Brady and begs him to lie for her. He agrees once she uses the miscarriage card again. EJ has Marco, one of his henchmen, follow Nicole, and he tapes the conversation and gives the tape to EJ, who plays it, time and time again, until he is livid.
Nicole then brings Brady to the manse and has him tell EJ that he fell off the cocaine rails and is really sorry. EJ lets her dig herself into a huge hole. Later, EJ brings out the pregnancy pads he found. Always on her toes, Nicole explains that women buy them to help them with wardrobe as they go through their second and third trimesters. EJ then brings out the tape and plays it for her. With her back against the wall, she gets irate and states that it was a private conversation and she was talking about a miscarriage she had a few years ago. EJ knows she’s lying and screams at her.
Will Nicole finally come clean? With Lucas telling Sami that Mia is a “recovering druggie” and with Chad learning about his and Mia’s baby, will the walls start closing in on Nicole?
