Kate learns the price she has to pay for Stefano disposing of the evidence that she poisoned Chloe and framed Daniel. She’s very grateful that Stefano cleaned up her mess. Then, Stefano tells her that she has to marry him and shows her a contract. Kate is absolutely furious and blows up, but she has no choice. Not wanting to go to prison Kate signs on the dotted line.
News of the couple’s engagement doesn’t go over well with her sons or Victor. When she returns home, Stefano informs Kate that they’re getting married that night at Chez Rouge. She was hoping to manipulate her way out of the situation, but Stefano knows her only too well.
Kate will now have the power she’s always craved: she’s married to the most powerful man around and in the best position to do whatever she wants to do. Is this a match made in hell?

It’s hell for her since now her sons (most important people in her life) hate her. She is also hated by the town of Salem so now she is alone with the controlling Stefano who she hates and yes the Dimera’s money.
