#DOOL Spoiler: Carly has a daughter

Last week I posted “Do Bo and Carly have a child”, and I speculated that the child mild be Mia. This week we find out that Carly does have a daughter, but is it Mia or Melanie? This is the reason that Carly stabbed Lawrence and returned to Salem, Lawrence learned of the daughter’s whereabouts and threatened to kill her.
Carly asks Maggie if she can move into her house, she doesn’t say why but will let her know soon, Carly’s daughter lives with Maggie and she wants to be near her child, plus that would less problems for Bo and Hope if Carly moved out.
The back story is that when Lawrence was sick he was physically incapacitated. When he recovered he became emotionally abusive and then physically abusive. There as no intimacy between husband and wife. Carly then attended a medical convention and had a one-night stand with a friend. Naturally, Carly ended up pregnant. She told Lawrence what happened and he pretended to be okay and claimed they would raise the child together. After Carly gave birth, Lawrence revealed he would kill the child or she could giver her daughter up. Carly, felling the girl would be better off, gave her child up.
Bo is aware of why Carly murdered Lawrence, but is fearful that Vivian will learn the truth and then everyone at Maggie’s house will be in danger. Eventually he agrees.
Who’s the daddy? Okay, here is more speculation on my part. Melanie’s father, Trent, was a professor at Salem University – however, we don’t really know much about his past. I personally can’t see him being at a medical convention. We really don’t know that much about Mia’s parents, except they don’t get along and basically kicked her to the curb when she was pregnant.
Seeing that this happened at a medical convention, my guess that it might be Daniel. We know how Dr. Dan fancies the ladies plus Carly was once married to Victor and Daniel is Victor’s godson.
This is going to be an interesting storyline.
