#Y&R Spoiler: Dumpster diving treasures

Last week, Paul showed Phyllis surveillance pictures from the night that Ray Elkins was murdered—the murder that Daniel is being framed for. Learning that the real killer tossed a gym bag into a dumpster that night, Phyllis heads to the landfill to search for the missing bag.
Phyllis is overwhelmed when Nick, Michael, Lauren, Eden, Jana, Kevin, Jack, Kay and Murphy show up to help search, hoping to clear Daniel’s name. Daisy (who has some kind of mysterious connection with Ryder) arrives to help—just as Eden finds the gym bag! Heather, who is also on the scene, looks through the bag and finds a ski mask and other evidence inside. She and Michael agree that the contents need to be tested for DNA, pronto.
Alone, Phyllis keeps digging through the trash and finds the shooter’s cell phone, with three saved voice mails on it. Listening to the voice mails, Phyllis hears the message from Deacon, which reveals he’s involved in the murder. She confronts Deacon and makes him an offer. She’ll destroy the phone if he kidnaps Amber and leaves town. (Phyllis, what ARE you thinking??)
Will Deacon agree? If so, how will Daniel feel when he finds out what his mother has done?
