#B&B Spoiler: Bridget lays down the law

The fallout from Nick secretly helping Sandy continues this week as Bridget questions her husband’s commitment to their marriage. Bridget is very upset with her husband for keeping secrets from her, especially with his history of doing the same with Brooke and Katie. Nick understands his wife’s position, but explains he didn’t tell her about Sandy’s past because he wanted to keep the peace; things just got out of hand. That appeases Bridget a little but not where Sandy’s concerned.

Brooke then enlightens Bridget further when she reveals that she overheard Whip and Sandy talking and learned that not only are they cousins, but Sandy has feelings for Nick. While still in the hospital, Bridget draws some very clear, bold boundaries: “No more alone time or secret meetings with my husband. You are simply a vessel for me to have a baby. This is a business deal, nothing more. As soon as you deliver a healthy child, you’ll get your check and then I want nothing more to do with you.” She also tells Sandy that she will continue to work for her at Jackie M, only so Bridget can keep an eye on her.

When Sandy returns to work, she finds a party in her honor. She talks about her rape and how she and Nick caught the bad guy. Bridget walks in and says, “Okay, party’s over,” and pulls down the huge welcome back banner. Then she says, “By the way, her name is Agnes, not Sandy.”
