#DOOL Spoiler: EJ fakes Sydney’s death

EJ’s evil baby plot thickens this week when he dumps Sydney’s clothes into the harbor to convince Sami and Rafe the child is dead.
First, EJ tells Anna that he wants to make Sami suffer until she has nothing left. EJ is in a world of pain, and he’s trying to get back at people who caused that pain. EJ tosses Sydney’s bloody clothes in the river. After the police find them, Rafe delivers the news to Sami and EJ, but he doesn’t necessarily think it means Sydney is gone, “Let’s not give up hope.”
DNA results come back confirming that it’s actually Sydney’s blood on the clothes, and Sami is devastated. EJ is getting a tremendous amount of pleasure from seeing Sami’s pain.
However, the news does pull Sami closer to EJ and away from Rafe. One of the big things to EJ is that Rafe is getting more and more involved in Sami’s life and he’s becoming a father figure to her children. EJ does NOT like that.
(How long must we viewers endure this? It has been over a year since the baby switch and almost three months since the “Sydnapping.” While I am enjoying having LeAnne Hunley back on the show as Anna, this storyline needs to be wrapped up as soon as possible!)
