#Y&R: Victor buys Jabot

When Tucker put Jabot up for sale, he decided to take bids and award the company to the highest bidder. Jack wants the family company back and enlists his sisters, Ashley and Traci, to help with the money – and his bid was twice the amount that Jabot was worth. Jack is confident that he’ll get the company, especially when Tucker informs him that there hasn’t been a bid from the Newmans.
One minute before bids are due, a messenger arrives at Tucker’s office with a bid from Victor – and that bid is higher than Jack’s! When Jack learns that his nemesis, Victor, outbid him, he is immediately suspicious and vows to figure out how he cheated his way into Jabot – Victor had to have inside information.
Moments later, Victor shows up and immediately fires Jack and Ashley. Victor then twists the knife even further and introduces them to Jabot’s new “ambassadress” – Gloria! Victor explains that hiring Gloria is only the beginning. He is so eager to get back at Jack that he’s willing to destroy his own investment.
Do Jack and Ashley have any hope of regaining control of their company? It doesn’t look good.

I thought I’d watch since I love Stephen Nicohols but this is kind of deja vu B&B except with a cosmetics company instead of a fashion house. And it’s kind of weird to see Sheriff Lamb from Veronica Mars playing Victor’s long lost son.
