#DOOL Spoiler: Rafe closes in on Anna

While Rafe meets with Nicole at the prison, she receives a pardon from the governor. He is obviously suspicious: why would the governor do this? Who got to the governor? He tells Nicole he’s going to get to the bottom of this.
Rafe confronts Governor Ford. “Tell me what the hell is going on or I’ll open an investigation.” The governor is indignant and says, “Good luck.” Rafe then finds out that the governor was at Victor’s mansion recently. When he asks Victor if anyone at the party spoke to Gov. Ford, Victor tells him that Anna DiMera did.
Then, he confronts EJ and tells him he thinks Anna took Sydney and is working with someone. EJ denies knowing anything or having any involvement.
Rafe learns that the newly released Nicole has been spotted in Santo Domingo. He makes plans to fly there and grill Nicole about Anna and who Anna was working with.
It could be easier than he thinks – Anna has just arrived in Santo Domingo too.
