#DOOL Spoiler: Hope’s secret life

Things are not looking up this week for Hope. Between the mugging case at work, her crumbling marriage to Bo, and Ciara’s outbursts, Hope starts acting strangely. She isn’t sleeping well and starts having tremendous headaches, so she gets a prescription from her doctor for sleeping pills.
After taking a pill, Hope goes home, tucks Ciara in and goes to bed herself. Later, Ciara sees Hope coming in from outside. Ciara tells Hope that she misses her daddy and wants to go home. Hope tells her daughter, “Maybe Justin will be your new daddy.” Later, when Ciara tells an awake Hope what she said, Hope is aghast. She is completely confused and concerned for her daughter.
The personal and professional pressures take a toll – she learns that Abe is the latest mugging victim, hears Carly on the phone telling Bo she loves him and then gets a call from school saying that Ciara stole something at school. Hope confronts Ciara about what happened and scolds her. Ciara sneaks into Hope’s room and finds a box hidden beneath the bed – Ciara realize3s her mother has a secret. Hope talks to Justin about Ciara, then takes another sleeping pill before going to bed.
Before long Hope gets up, gets ready to go out and grabs her gun. She sneaks out of the house and the next time we see her, she is sitting at a table playing poker and making a man an offer he can’t refuse! Who is this mysterious man? DR. BAKER!!!
(I’m hoping that we see Hope smoking a cigar while at the poker table!)
